As a carer in the Canton of Glarus, you have the opportunity to receive financial support. This recognition is for individuals who take care of a family member at home.
You can receive a monthly contribution that acknowledges your valuable work. Note that this contribution must be declared as income on your tax return.
In addition to recognition contributions, there is also non-bureaucratic immediate financial assistance available for private households. This help is aimed at families who need support due to health issues and cannot finance it themselves.
